Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of information controlled by The Arclian Chronicles and its Arclian Marketing Manager app without creating an account or using the automated assistant.

Request deletion by email

  1. Email todd@maluvrian.com with the subject Arclian data deletion request.
  2. Tell us which information you want deleted: Facebook message data held by the app, Reader Notes subscriber information, or correspondence you sent us.
  3. For Facebook messages, include your Facebook display name or profile link and the approximate date you contacted Todd R. Smith - Author. For Reader Notes, send the request from the subscribed email address if possible.

Do not send a password, access token, identity document or payment information. We may ask you to confirm control of the relevant email address or Facebook account if needed to locate and verify your request.

What happens next

Todd handles these requests manually. After verification, we will locate the relevant records, delete information under our control where applicable, and reply with the outcome or explain any information that must be retained. The email link opens your email application. You must send the request yourself; this page does not perform immediate or automatic deletion.

Deleting the app’s copy does not delete messages or account information retained by Meta. To manage that information, use Facebook’s own privacy and message controls. Our app cannot delete your Facebook account.

Remove website progress and notes

On this website, go to Explore Arclian, select Reset saved progress, and confirm. This clears your saved reading point, challenge progress and notes for that browser. You can also clear this website’s data in your browser settings. Repeat on other browsers or devices you have used.

Stop Reader Notes emails

Use the unsubscribe link in any Reader Notes email. To request deletion of subscriber information as well, email the address above. A limited suppression record may be kept to prevent further marketing emails.
